James is a seasoned financial planner and one of the directors at Border Financial Planning in Albury.

James’ educational background include a Bachelors in Economics and Masters of Insurance and Risk Management.

With a wealth of experience in the finance industry since 2007, James is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals through personalised strategies tailored to their individual needs.

James' favourite part of his job is working closely with clients and problem solving to develop customised financial plans that address their unique circumstances and aspirations.

James is committed to providing expert guidance and support every step of the way. His deep understanding of the financial landscape and his ability to adapt strategies to suit each client's situation make him an invaluable asset to the team at Border Financial Planning.

After over 40 years as a full financial planner, starting at the birth of the industry as it evolved from life insurance sales, Mick has taken a step back in the business and works part time with a focus on Centrelink and Aged Care.

With his passion for helping older clients through challenging and often complicated circumstances, he is always on hand as a sounding board for clients and the business alike.

His specialties have evolved as he enjoys the problem-solving nature of taking a set of client circumstances and working them into the relevant legislation.

Outside of work, Mick can be found chasing his grandson or keeping fit with Pilates.
